⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cafecito is much more than a coffee shop, it's an experience. Natalia, the owner, is truly an entrepreneur's entrepreneur. She has created a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels seen and appreciated from the moment they walk through the door. I met Natalia at a networking event, and after she recommended I visit her shop, I've continued returning for meetings, community events, and quiet moments to enjoy a great cup of coffee. Every visit has been consistently excellent. The coffee is outstanding, the pastries and food are delicious, and the positive energy throughout the space makes it a place you'll want to come back to. If you're in the downtown Newark area and appreciate exceptional coffee, fresh pastries, and a business that genuinely values its customers, I highly recommend stopping by Cafecito. You won't be disappointed.

Great little local cafe and bakery serving up excellent coffee and pastries. They cater as well. Got some freshly made donuts for my daughter’s birthday party for the second year and could not have been more pleased.

We passed by and saw this new place was open. We wanted to try it. It’s nice to see pretty and inviting establishments in town. It was pretty empty when we went. They didn’t have many coffee options. Since it’s called cafecitos I thought it would be more varied. They had a few pastry options and some food options. I had one of the fresh made juices. It was well blended and mixed. The Cuban sandwich was very good. I’ve been to places where the ham is the show instead of the pork. I can’t wait for them to expand their coffee options. I will be back. Oh and it has private parking.

Cafecitos is truly a neighborhood gem! It’s is really the kind of place this neighborhood sorely needed and it excelled in every aspect. The drinks are are perfect — not weak, not bitter. The pastries are a combination of European and Caribbean goodies. The Sandwiches are generally in their portions and very nicely seasoned. The place is super cute and clean too. And, as if all of that wasn’t enough, the prices are almost too affordable (so tip them well, folks!) this is the peptide r place to sit down and grab some coffee with a friend. I cannot recommend Cafecitos highly enough!!!
